Fundraising
We continue to look for funds and ways to fulfill our mission to Eliminate Sexism and Racism, (established when the YWCA was founded in 1858), and to empower women and children. Our primary fous is to strengthen the learning base of children and youth through music and language arts, both of which require creativity, demanding strong verbal and written communication.
Future and ongoing fundraising include:
- Project Tea Bag - Mail Tea Bags every few weeks to raise funds for children's programs
- ChleMatsu Penny Brigade - Turn pennies into Store Cards for Homeless Kids this Christmas
- Soles for Life - Collect old shoes till Dec. 30 to Help turn Old Shoes into Drinking Water
